The Vikings wore necklaces that featured animals or beasts biting into a ring from which pendants were hung. This variant features a King Chain that terminates in the heads of Geri and Freki, Odin's wolves, which bite into a ring bearing a large Mjölnir pendant.
Geri and Freki's names might be translated as "the hungry one" or "the voracious one." Wolves are seen as both harmful and good in Norse culture. On the one hand,they are said to represent chaos and devastation, but on the other hand,they also signify protection, knowledge, loyalty, and courage.
