Bastet was the Ancient Egyptian goddess of cats, the home, fire, sunrise, music, dance, pleasure as well as sexuality, fertility and family. Believed to be the "Soul of Isis", she was known as The Sacred Cat.
As the warrior daughter of the sun god Ra, she was also his defender, and fought his archenemy Apep. She was seen as a guardian of family, the home, and a protector of the pharaohs of Egypt.
This beautiful necklace depicts Bastet in her feline form on a leather cord, and is a meaningful accessory for Egyptology fans and loved ones.
